Saturday 9 April was the opening day for the club, hosted by Ladies’ President Liz Davis and Gent’s President Phil Howarth.
The competition was a Gent’s President’s team against a Ladies’ President’s team. The overall result was a win for the Gent’s President by 48 points to 42. The most successful rink was Phil Howarth, Jean Fisher, Jas Robertson and Kay Fairgrieve who had a winning margin of 18 points.
Monday 11 April and Wednesday 13 April at 1.45pm sees the start of the Ladies’ rink sessions and Wednesday 20 April sees the start of the Gent’s evening rink sessions starting at 6.45pm. Monday 11 April is also Ladies’ opening day.
The last carpet bowls session will take place on Wednesday 13 April at 6.45pm.
